Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead the Preconstruction Group through scope, cost, and schedule from notice of award to mobilization.

You will manage meetings, cost tracking, LNTP creation, and procurement coordination, while collaborating across engineering, procurement, and legal teams. This is a fully remote role with approximately 25% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability to manage a remote project team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Bluebeam Revu.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Preconstruction Group’s daily operations and project scope, budget, and schedule from notice of award to mobilization.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, legal, and other departments on contracts and scopes.
• Define and create LNTPs and manage design requirements.
