Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead the Preconstruction Group, coordinating cost, scope, and schedule from notice of award to mobilization. This fully remote role requires collaborating with engineering, procurement, accounting, and legal teams to finalize LNTPs and EPC negotiations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of construction experience, strong leadership in remote environments, and solid skills in cost control, bids, and CMiC systems. Travel is estimated at 25%.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability to coordinate remote teams into a high-performing project group.
• Strong written and verbal communications and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Preconstruction Group efforts with daily management and coordination.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain all CMiC system aspects.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit/evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
