Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead all preconstruction activities from conceptual budgeting through GMP development and project turnover.

You will collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to manage scope, budgeting, estimating, and value engineering. Remote position based in the United States; candidates should have 4+ years in preconstruction or related fields and a Bachelor’s degree; strong communication and project management skills

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or project management.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience developing conceptual budgets and GMP proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities from concept through handoff.
• Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants during design.
• Develop budgets and detailed cost estimates at each design phase.
• Prepare GMP proposals, exhibits, and pricing documentation.
• Perform value engineering and cost-saving recommendations.
• Coordinate bid packages and procurement documents.
• Mentor junior staff and support cross-functional collaboration.
