Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead the Preconstruction Group through daily management, scheduling, budgeting, and scope delivery from award to mobilization. The role is fully remote with discussion on location during interview, requiring coordinating divisions and ensuring procurement aligns with LNTP scope.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of construction experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with CMiC, MS Office, and Bluebeam Revu to maintain cost controls,

Qualifications

• Engineering/Construction Management/Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years field construction experience.
• Experience coordinating remote teams and multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements
• Prepare billings and expedite payments
• Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids
• Write project procedures
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff
• Ensure procurement activities align with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal to create contract scopes of work
• Define and create LNTPs
• Research and understand project design requirements
• Track changes impacting schedule/budget and report to Project Executive
• Represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings
• Support estimating reconciliation for design iterations
• Report cost forecasting and estimated cost at completion
• Manage project risk and mitigation plans
• Build relationships with Owner, Engineers, Vendors, Subcontractors
• Support final EPC negotiations
• Communicate final scope with Procurement, Operations, and Partners
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned
