Job summary

SOLV Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, delivering utility-scale solar, battery storage and high-voltage substation projects nationwide. The Preconstruction Project Manager leads the Preconstruction Group, coordinating scope, budget and schedule from notice of award to mobilization.

This remote role requires managing meetings, cost tracking, bid packages, LNTP creation, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, procurement and operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years field experience as a Project Engineer or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in cost control, scheduling and estimating.
• Ability to travel ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Preconstruction Group’s efforts from notice of award to project mobilization.
• Maintain cost control ledger and project cost statements.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system and project procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, accounting, construction and legal teams.
• Support procurement to align with LNTP scope and budget.
• Ensure timely reporting of cost forecasting and EAC.
