Job summary

Systematic Business Consulting is seeking a licensed Structural Engineer for our United States-based team. This hands-on role focuses on analysis and design of specialized precast and post-tensioned concrete structures, supporting water, wastewater, and industrial infrastructure projects.

You will lead technical work across design, production, and field teams, review calculations and drawings, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with outside resources.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required, structural focus preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in precast/prestressed concrete.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with precast concrete and post-tensioned systems.
• Strong understanding of design-to-production workflows and constructability.
• Ability to lead and mentor engineers and drafters.
• Specialized precast concrete experience in water, wastewater, industrial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of precast and post-tensioned concrete structures.
• Review and oversee drawings for accuracy and constructability.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Production, and Field teams.
• Assign, review, and provide technical guidance on work by designers and drafters.
• Review calculations and documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Support development of engineering standards and workflows.
• Coordinate with outside engineering resources as needed.
• Provide technical support for field issues and site inspections.
