Job summary

TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc. in Allentown, PA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer with proven performance in the structural design of precast concrete structures.

You will lead a team of design engineers and Revit modelers/detailers to deliver high-quality designs. Responsibilities include engineering of precast/concrete products for large commercial buildings, preparations and checks of calculations and drawings, coordination with architects and contractors, and involvement in project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis, or Architectural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• 10+ years of experience in the structural design of pre-cast concrete multi-level parking or other commercial structures.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective project team collaboration.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Willing and able to adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Structural engineering of pre-cast/pre-stressed concrete products and connections for large commercial buildings such as stadiums/arenas, parking garages, office buildings, warehouses.
• Preparing and/or checking of engineering calculations, structural drawings and details.
• Checking of drawings, coordination with clients (architects, other engineers, general contractors).
• Working as part of a project team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines.
• Providing quality control/ quality assurance to ensure deliverables are high quality and on-time.
• Assisting with all aspects of project management from project set-up through design and into construction administration.
