Job summary

Jones Networking is recruiting a Pre-Litigation Attorney for a Plaintiff Personal Injury firm. This remote position in North Carolina offers a competitive salary and employer-paid benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO and holidays.

Hours are Mon-Thu 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-3pm. The ideal candidate holds a North Carolina bar in good standing, 2–5+ years in PI pre-litigation, and excels in negotiation, client advocacy, and written communication.

Qualifications

• J.D. required from an accredited law school.
• Active North Carolina bar license in good standing.
• 2–5+ years of personal injury pre-litigation experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and performance-driven.

Responsibilities

• Guide personal injury clients from intake through early resolution with empathy and strategic advocacy.
• Evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and case value for early-stage strategies.
• Prepare demand packages and negotiate with insurance carriers to maximize settlements.
• Serve as primary attorney contact, providing client counseling and updates.
• Direct investigations, collect evidence, and analyze medical records to strengthen claims.
• Identify policy limits and escalation points to litigation when necessary.
• Collaborate with case managers and paralegals to maintain case momentum.
• Prepare settlements, closing statements, and final disbursement documents.

Jones Networking is recruiting for a Pre-Litigation Attorney to join a Plaintiff Personal Injury Law Firm on a remote basis in North Carolina. Our client offers a competitive salary, employer-paid medical, life, and disability insurance, 401k match, PTO and remote options.

Responsibilities of the Pre-Litigation Attorney (Personal Injury):

• Guide personal injury clients from intake through resolution with empathy, efficiency, and strategic advocacy to secure fair compensation without litigation
• Evaluate liability, damages, coverage, and case value to develop effective early-stage case strategies
• Build persuasive demand packages and negotiate directly with insurance carriers to maximize settlements
• Serve as primary attorney contact, providing clear communication, client counseling, and proactive case updates
• Direct investigations, evidence collection, and medical record analysis to strengthen liability and damages claims
• Identify policy limits, subrogation issues, statutes of limitation, and recommend timely escalation to litigation when necessary
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, and lien resolution teams to maintain case momentum and optimize client recovery
• Prepare settlement agreements, closing statements, and final disbursement documentation with accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements of the Pre-Litigation Attorney (Personal Injury):

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active North Carolina bar license in good standing.
• 2–5+ years of personal injury pre-litigation experience with a strong track record in case evaluation, negotiation strategy, and client advocacy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft persuasive demand packages and negotiate effectively with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and performance-driven, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload while meeting cycle-time, settlement, and client satisfaction goals.
• Client-focused professional with strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build trust and rapport throughout the claims process.
• Tech-savvy and adaptable, with experience using Filevine or similar case management platforms preferred.
