Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Pre-Litigation Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote role available nationwide, including Sacramento, CA. You will handle pre-litigation matters such as demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges, and provide analysis to clients and carriers.

The role requires CA state bar admission, 4+ years of CA employment litigation experience for Associate, or 9+ years for Of Counsel with first chair capacity.

Qualifications

• Admission to the CA state bar and compliance with ethical requirements.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in California employment litigation for Associate role.
• At least 9 years of relevant experience for Of Counsel role, with first chair capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, balance demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication, legal research, and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Independently respond to demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.
• Assess claims and provide analysis to clients and carriers.
• Engage in direct client and carrier contact for response handling.
• Participate in settlement activities, including mediations.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team for client work product delivery.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
