Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Pre-Litigation Associate - Of Counsel for a fully remote opportunity available nationwide, including Red Bank, NJ. You will manage pre-litigation matters such as demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.

You will collaborate with clients, carriers, and firm teams to assess claims, draft responses, and participate in settlement activities while maintaining strict ethical standards and timely communication.

Qualifications

• JD degree required.
• Admission to the California bar.
• 4+ years of California employment litigation experience for Associate role.
• 9+ years of relevant experience for Of Counsel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and legal research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Independently respond to demand letters, requests for records, and agency/administrative charges.
• Assess claims and provide analysis to clients and carriers.
• Engage in direct client and carrier contact for response handling.
• Participate in settlement activities, including mediations.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development team for client work product delivery.
• Complete administrative tasks as assigned by firm leadership.
