Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience beyond education.
• Knowledge of federal, state/provincial and local consumer collection laws.
• Familiarity with BMO products and services.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to analyze data and identify collection opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Review delinquent, high-risk, or written-off accounts for collections opportunities.
• Advise customers on payment strategies aligned with their objectives.
• Provide collections-related sales and service to customers or prospects.
• Balance loss mitigation processes to resolve non-performing accounts.
• Develop reports and insights to support recovery efforts and performance.
