Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Pre-Award Research Administrator to support faculty, PIs, and research teams through proposal development and grant submission. You will advise on budgets, compliance, and sponsor requirements, coordinating submissions to federal, state, and foundation sponsors in a deadline-driven, remote-capable environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in pre-award administration, strong Excel skills, and a deep understanding of 2 CFR 200.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in pre-award research administration.
• Experience with federal sponsors (NIH/NSF/DoD/DOE/HRSA).
• Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations (2 CFR 200).
• Budget development and justification experience.
• Familiarity with sponsor submission portals.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Partner with faculty and PIs to develop and submit grant proposals.
• Review sponsor guidelines and requirements.
• Prepare detailed proposal budgets and justifications.
• Advise on allowable costs, effort, and compliance.
• Coordinate submissions to federal, state, foundation, and private sponsors.
• Maintain proposal records in research admin systems.
• Monitor sponsor requirements and funding policy changes.
• Support investigators in identifying new funding opportunities.
