Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Pre-Award Research Administrator to support faculty, PIs, and research teams throughout proposal development and grant submission.

You will advise on funding opportunities, sponsor guidelines, and compliance, and coordinate budgets, biosketches, and supporting documents across federal, state, foundation, and private sponsors in a fully remote, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years of pre-award research administration experience.
• Experience with NIH, NSF, DoD, DOE, HRSA or similar federal sponsors.
• Strong knowledge of 2 CFR 200 and sponsor policies.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PIs to develop and submit grant proposals.
• Prepare budgets and budget justifications.
• Interpret sponsor guidelines and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate submissions to federal, state, foundations and private sponsors.
• Maintain proposal records in research administration systems.
• Advise on allowable costs, effort, and regulatory requirements.
