Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a Pre-Award Research Administrator to support faculty and PIs in proposal development and grant submission. You will advise on sponsor guidelines, develop budgets, and ensure compliance across federal, state, and private sponsors, coordinating timelines and documentation in research administration systems.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in pre-award work, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of pre-award research administration experience.
• Experience with NIH/NSF/DoD/DOE HRSA or similar federal sponsors.
• Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations and Uniform Guidance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with faculty and PIs to develop and submit grant proposals.
• Review funding opportunity announcements and sponsor guidelines.
• Prepare detailed proposal budgets and budget justifications.
• Advise investigators on allowable costs, effort, and compliance.
• Coordinate submissions to federal, state, foundation and private sponsors.
• Manage proposal timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review applications for completeness and compliance with sponsor rules.
• Prepare narratives, biosketches, and other materials.
