Placements24 seeks a Remote Powertrain Software Engineer to drive the development of embedded powertrain software from a home office. You will design, implement, and validate software for engine management, transmission control, and hybrid/electric powertrains using state-of-the-art tools.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded automotive software, strong C/C++ skills, RTOS experience, and familiarity with CAN/UDS. AUTOSAR is a plus; collaboration with a global team is essential.

Formación

• Embedded software development experience in automotive powertrains.
• 5+ years in embedded software for automotive powertrains.
• C/C++ for embedded systems.
• RTOS and CAN/UDS automotive protocols.
• AUTOSAR experience desirable.
• Familiarity with compilers, debuggers, and Git.

Responsabilidades

• Develop embedded software for powertrain control units (engine, transmission, hybrid).
• Design and implement control algorithms for performance, fuel economy, emissions.
• Create software requirements, architecture, and design docs.
• Use MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm development and validation.
• Perform software integration, testing, and debugging on target hardware.
• Collaborate with powertrain hardware and system engineers for integration.
• Support calibration engineers in tuning control parameters.
• Ensure software compliance with ISO 26262.
