Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Automotive Systems Engineer to design, develop, and integrate advanced automotive systems from a home office. You will collaborate with global teams to enhance vehicle performance, safety, and user experience.

The role requires 5+ years of experience in automotive systems engineering and proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS, plus familiarity with CAN/LIN/Ethernet protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in automotive systems engineering.
• Experience in design, development, and validation of automotive systems (e.g., ADAS, powertrain, vehicle dynamics).
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and ANSYS.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and test automotive systems and components (powertrain, chassis, or electronics).
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software teams to define system requirements.
• Conduct system integration, verification, and validation activities.
• Analyze performance data and identify improvements and optimization.
• Develop and maintain design specifications, test plans, and reports.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering challenges related to system performance and reliability.
• Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements in the automotive sector.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Utilize simulation and modeling tools for system analysis and design validation.
