Electric Power Engineers, Inc. is offering a Power Systems Engineer Intern position with a focus on modeling and analysis for renewable energy projects. You will perform network studies and contribute to Python-based tools under the guidance of a mentor, gaining hands-on experience in a global consulting setting.

The internship is remote with a Fall start and exposure to Texas and Eastern Interconnection power systems, designed to bridge classroom concepts with real-world challenges.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Power systems fundamentals course(s) preferred.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher required or expected.

Mansioni

• Perform network-wide steady-state and short-circuit studies.
• Develop Python scripts to improve processes.
• Work under a mentor to learn day-to-day power systems engineering tasks.
• Contribute to projects related to renewable energy and grid modeling for the Texas and Eastern Interconnection.
