Job summary

INS Engineering, a remotely operating power systems firm based in Texas, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support power system studies, modeling, grid integration and renewable projects. You’ll work with senior engineers on study models, simulations, and reports for renewable generation, data centers, storage and transmission.

The role welcomes a range of experience levels and emphasizes strong fundamentals, aptitude and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a power systems focus or equivalent.
• Solid foundation in power system analysis, electrical machines, and protection.
• Experience with at least one power engineering modeling tool.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and model power system studies including load flow and interconnection.
• Deliver calculations, reports and client deliverables with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and mentors to grow technical skills.
