Job summary

Electric Power Engineers (EPE) seeks a Power System Planning Product Owner to drive automation and software development at the intersection of power system studies, product development and software delivery.

You will bridge consulting teams and the software group to translate complex engineering workflows into practical, scalable tools, while guiding agile processes and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE or CS or commensurate transmission planning experience.
• 5+ years as Power System Studies Engineer with automation or software exposure.
• Experience translating technical concepts into actionable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision from roadmap to defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with software, data engineering, and consulting teams to deliver features with measurable impact.
• Participate in Agile processes and align outputs with engineering needs.
• Define acceptance criteria, support UAT, and validate data and calculations within the platform.
• Create product docs, training materials, and conduct technical demos for internal and external users.
