Job summary

ECNS Global Consultants PLLC is seeking a Protection & Control Engineer I–III to design, test, implement, and maintain protection and control systems for reliable power operations. You will work on relay protection, coordination, and power system studies across multiple experience levels.

The role requires an ABET‑accredited electrical engineering degree, experience with utility/industrial protection, and willingness to travel 5–30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited).
• Experience with protection and control for utility/industrial power systems.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Willingness to travel and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform protection and control engineering activities: relay settings, coordination studies, fault analysis, power system studies.
• Develop and maintain calculations, drawings, reports, relay settings files, and docs.
• Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot protective relays, SCADA, RTUs, comms networks, and automation systems.
• Support/lead commissioning, startup, FAT/SAT, outage support, and field deployment.
• Coordinate with project teams, operations, contractors, vendors, and clients to meet objectives.
