Job summary

ECNS Global Consultants, PLLC is seeking a Protection & Control Engineer I, II, or III to design, implement, test, and maintain protection and control systems for reliable electrical power networks. You will apply relay protection, coordination studies, fault analysis, and power system analysis to develop solutions that enhance safety and performance.

You will develop calculations, drawings, and documentation; configure relays, SCADA, RTUs, and communications; support commissioning, FAT/SAT,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• 1–3 years for Engineer I; 3+ years for Engineer II; 7+ years for Engineer III.
• FE certification preferred; PE license preferred.
• Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, ANSI, NESC standards.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay settings, coordination studies, fault analysis, and power system studies.
• Develop, review, and maintain calculations, drawings, reports, and documentation.
• Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot protective relays, SCADA systems, RTUs, and communications networks.
• Support or lead commissioning, startup, FAT, SAT, outage support, and field deployment.
• Coordinate with project teams, operations, contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Lead or support technical reviews, QA/QC activities, and project planning.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship for junior engineers (Engineer III).
