Job summary

ECNS Global Consultants, PLLC is seeking a Protection & Control Engineer to design, implement, test, and maintain protection and control systems for electrical power networks. You will apply relay protection, coordination studies, and power system analysis to improve reliability and protect critical infrastructure.

The role supports engineering delivery across transmission, distribution and substations, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and lead project reviews.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Protection & control experience is preferred at levels I–III.

Responsibilities

• Perform protection and control engineering activities including relay settings, coordination studies, fault analysis, and power system studies.
• Develop, review, and maintain engineering calculations, drawings, reports, relay settings files, and documentation.
• Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot relays, SCADA, RTUs, communications networks, and automation systems.
• Support or lead commissioning, startup, FAT/SAT, outage support, and field implementation.

Education
