Job summary

ECNS Global Consultants, PLLC seeks a Protection & Control Engineer I–III to design, test, and maintain protection and control systems for electrical power networks. You will apply relay protection, coordination studies, and power system analysis to improve reliability and safety.

This full-time, salary-exempt role offers travel 5–30% and remote work options with project travel, ABET-accredited electrical engineering degrees, and opportunities for advancement within engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 1–3 years for Engineer I; 3+ years for Engineer II; 7+ years for Engineer III; PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform relay settings, coordination studies, fault analysis, and power system studies.
• Develop and maintain calculations, drawings, reports, and documentation.
• Design, configure, test, and troubleshoot protective relays, SCADA, RTUs, and automation systems.
• Support commissioning, startup, FAT/SAT, outages, and field implementation.
• Lead or support technical reviews, QA/QC, and project deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians (Engineer III).
