Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Project Manager for high‑stakes power generation projects based in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead greenfield and brownfield programs, coordinating engineering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover for complex utilities and transmission infrastructure.

Responsibilities include managing budgets up to $10M, overseeing EPC/OE interfaces, and driving schedule discipline across multiple workstreams while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Lead large greenfield and brownfield power generation projects from development and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning and turnover.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget across one to two business units with budgets from $500,000 to $10,000,000.
• Oversee engineering design for high‑voltage transmission and power generation.
• Provide design management and owners agent support for large transmission and distribution projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Develop execution plans and integrated schedules using P6 or MS Project.
• Manage RFPs, evaluate responses, and support contractor/vendor selection.
• Administer RFIs and Change Orders with scope/cost/schedule impacts.
• Deliver regular status updates and executive presentations.
