Mainspring Energy is seeking an Origination Manager to shepherd high-value deals from initial discussions through contract execution. You will coordinate with utilities, developers, and internal teams to move opportunities across the pipeline and secure PPAs and interconnection steps.

In this remote role, you’ll leverage market literacy and leadership to navigate ISO/RTO frameworks, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations, while presenting clear, executive-level narratives to senior

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of total experience in energy, with 3+ years in power markets, generation development, or utility operations.
• Strong understanding of ISO/RTO frameworks and interconnection processes.
• Commercial and technical curiosity with knowledge of utility-scale generation.

Responsibilities

• Deal shepherding and momentum through development and contracting pipeline.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for utilities, developers, and large energy buyers.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders across engineering, regulatory, finance, legal, and operations.
• Navigate market frameworks and transmission interconnection processes to support project delivery.
• Support structuring, negotiation, and implementation of PPAs, tolling, and capacity agreements.
• Synthesize complex data into executive-level presentations for senior leadership.
