Job summary

Invenergy LLC in the United States seeks a Manager, Origination to drive strategic growth in SPP and ERCOT by building customer relationships and structuring energy transactions across wind, solar, storage and thermal assets.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop pricing and proposals, and expand opportunities while maintaining CRM data and delivering internal updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of energy sector experience in development or sales.
• Knowledge of the electric utility industry and energy markets.
• Familiarity with RTO operations, electric transmission and storage technologies.
• Strong sales, networking, negotiation and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Identify new origination prospects and implement an outreach strategy for all products and technologies under development, including key customer messaging.
• Coordinate closely with internal Development, Finance, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs and other departments to develop solutions for customers.
• Originate and assist with structuring and closing complex transactions in coordination with Commercial Transactions team.
• Oversee the development of proposals, pricing, due diligence, presentations and responses for RFPs.
• Coordinate with Sales Operations Managers and Analysts to progress opportunities towards execution.
• Develop and maintain strong customer and business relationships.
• Develop origination strategies aligned with market fundamentals, asset development pipelines and long-term company objectives.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, pricing proposals, and business updates to internal stakeholders.
• Maintain CRM software with latest status on outreach efforts.
