Job summary

Sigma Technologies is seeking a Power Make-Ready Design Supervisor to lead a team delivering make-ready design for power utility projects. This working supervisor role combines leadership, technical oversight, and hands-on support to ensure high-quality, on-time results.

The ideal candidate has direct make-ready experience and a track record of mentoring designers, with strong communication and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Direct experience performing or overseeing power utility make-ready design.
• Experience leading make-ready designers as a team lead or supervisor.
• Experience with joint-use coordination and make-ready recommendations.
• Knowledge of utility pole attachment clearances, pole loading, and related standards.
• Ability to manage priorities, quality, and meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to attend an initial in-person orientation in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision for a team of power make-ready designers.
• Perform technical make-ready design and project work alongside the employees you supervise.
• Establish team priorities, coordinate assignments, monitor progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Review make-ready designs for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Provide technical guidance related to joint-use poles, attachments, pole loading, and make-ready recommendations.
• Support Project Manager and Project Engineer responsibilities.
