Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power & Energy Project Manager to lead high-level technical delivery for EHV Transmission and Substation projects within the Power & Energy PMO. The role covers oversight of financial, technical, client satisfaction, quality, safety, and schedule across multiple sites, with remote-work options within the United States and travel to client offices for key meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline or PM field.
• 10+ years of post-education PM experience in the industry.
• Experience with DBB, EPC, and PDB delivery models.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with leadership at all levels.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules while maintaining QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate with all levels of management and disciplines throughout the project life cycle to support cost and schedule objectives.
• Lead the development of project proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management and control.
• Provide regular project reporting and updates to clients, technical leads, and business leaders, identifying emergent issues and mitigation strategies.
• Be the face of WSP for the client and develop long-term relationships with clients to drive satisfaction and retention.
• Adhere to proven processes and develop new processes to standardize procedures.
• Adhere to safety regulations and enforce project safety standards.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding funds and resources.
