Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power & Energy Project Manager for the Power & Energy PMO in New York, NY. Location flexibility includes remote work within the United States and travel to client sites for periodic meetings.

The role provides leadership across the lifecycle of EHV Transmission and Substation projects, overseeing budget, schedule, safety, quality, and client satisfaction while supporting proposal development and relationship management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
10+ years of post-education project management experience in the industry.
Experience with DBB, EPC, and PDB delivery models.
Strong analytical and organizational skills and business acumen.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with leadership and clients.
Self-driven with attention to detail and QA/QC adherence.
Proficient in MS Office and PM software; able to write technical docs.
Ability to travel to client offices for meetings as required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with management and disciplines to meet cost and schedule objectives.
Lead development of proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, cost and change management.
Provide regular project reporting and mitigation strategies to clients and leadership.
Be the face of WSP for the client and strengthen relationships.
Adhere to established processes and help standardize new ones.
Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance on all projects.
Make ethical decisions regarding funds and resources; support project goals.
Handle additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
