Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager, Power & Energy for the Power & Energy PMO. Location options include Tulsa, OK, with other TX/OK/AR/LA locations and remote US work possible. Travel to offices and client sites will be required.

The role oversees mid-level projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, budgets, schedules, and QA/QC while maintaining safety and profitability. Strong PM credentials and industry experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related major or equivalent experience.
• PMP or CAP-M certification required.
• 7–10 years of post-education PM experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Solid understanding of project delivery in A/E/C.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-led with attention to detail and ability to lead junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-functional teams to manage budgets, hours, and expenses across projects.
• Contribute to proposals, cost estimates, scope, schedules, and resource plans.
• Develop WBS tasks and estimated costs.
• Ensure QA/QC and appropriate technical reviews.
• Support margin analyses and risk planning.
• Coordinate contract negotiations, presentations, and meetings.
• Prepare initiation/setup docs (RMP, PMP, QP, PSP, Communications Plan).
• Provide project reporting and stakeholder updates.
• Monitor AR, unbilled revenue, and procurements with procurement teams.
• Closeout projects and document lessons learned.
