Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within the Power Delivery Solutions division. The role focuses on delivering complex electric projects for a major utility client, managing scope, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

The position offers remote working capabilities with periodic travel to client sites across New York state. Candidates in or near NY or the Northeastern US are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive Project Management experience within the Electric Utility Industry.
• Experience as a Project Manager directly at an electric utility is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with US Electric Utilities and understanding of electric power and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain project budgets and forecasts monthly.
• Identify and mitigate risks to the project delivery process including permitting, logistics, material, resource, contractual and cost constraints.
• Prepare for and attend workplans and stakeholder meetings.
• Assemble project teams and host project meetings to resolve risks.
• Maintain detailed project schedules monthly with Project Controllers in Primavera P6.
