Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team in the Power Delivery Solutions division. You will manage a large portfolio of complex electric projects, ensuring scope, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

Remote work is possible, with periodic travel to client sites across New York state. Preference for candidates in NY or the Northeastern US. Opportunities for PMP certification and professional development are available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive project management experience in electric utilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• Experience working with US electric utilities and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel periodically with a valid driver’s license.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project budgets and forecasts monthly.
• Ensure compliance with financial governance policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks affecting scope, cost, or schedule.
• Attend workplans and stakeholder meetings.
• Lead project teams and drive issue resolution.
• Ensure timely delivery of reports and status updates.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Support achievement of fiscal year targets with leadership oversight.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve efficiency.
