Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking a Project Manager to join the Strategic Program Consulting team in Power Delivery Solutions. You will manage a large portfolio of electric projects, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure scope, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

The role offers remote capabilities with periodic travel across New York state; NY/Northeastern US candidates preferred. You will gain PMP certification support and professional development opportunities within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive Project Management experience within the Electric Utility Industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field.
• Demonstrated Experience working with US Electric Utilities and understanding of electric power projects.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to travel periodically with a valid driver's license.
• Working Knowledge of Primavera P6 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project budgets and forecasts monthly.
• Ensure compliance with financial governance policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory targets.
• Prepare for and attend workplans and stakeholder meetings.
• Assemble project teams and host meetings to resolve issues.
• Monitor reports and KPI performance; adjust as needed.
• Drive improvements to achieve efficiency and targets.
