Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within the Power Delivery Solutions division. You will manage a large portfolio of electric utility projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver scope, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

The role supports remote work with periodic travel in New York state. Candidates near NY or the Northeast are preferred; opportunities for career development and PMP certification are

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive Project Management experience in the Electric Utility Industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field
• Experience with US Electric Utilities and understanding of electric power projects
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to travel periodically with a valid driver's license
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain project budgets and forecasts monthly
• Ensure compliance with financial governance policies
• Identify and mitigate risks to project delivery
• Ensure regulatory and mandatory targets are met
• Prepare for and attend workplans and stakeholder meetings
• Assemble project teams and host meetings to resolve issues
• Complete reports on time
• Monitor KPIs and adjust processes to improve performance
• Drive improvements to best practices for efficiency
• Maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6
• Provide leadership to stakeholders to deliver annual targets
