Job summary

Leidos Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Strategic Program Consulting team within our Power Delivery Solutions division. The Project Manager will oversee a large portfolio of complex electric projects across their lifecycle, coordinating stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of scope, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive project management experience in the Electric Utility Industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel periodically with a valid driver's license
• Demonstrated experience working with US electric utilities and understanding of electric power infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Accurately maintain project budgets and forecasts monthly.
• Ensure compliance with financial governance policies and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate risks to the project delivery process including permitting, logistics, material, resource, contractual and cost constraints.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and other mandatory targets.
• Prepare for and attend workplans and other stakeholder meetings.
• Assemble project teams and host meetings to resolve risks or issues.
• Ensure timely completion of reports as required by the business.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and adjust as needed to achieve high performance.
• Challenge current processes and drive improvements to best practices for efficiency.
• Maintain detailed project schedules monthly with Project Controllers in Primavera P6 including requirements, activities, milestones, resourcing, status.
• Provide leadership to internal and external stakeholders to deliver fiscal year targets.
