Job summary

VAL-CO is seeking a Poultry & Controls Territory Sales Manager to drive revenue for control product lines across domestic swine and poultry markets. The role focuses on consultative selling and strong technical communication, with travel within the territory.

Responsibilities include live/virtual demos, cross-functional coordination, and contributing to sales goals. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in related sales, with occasional international travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agronomy, or Engineering.
5+ years in agricultural systems and/or precision ag equipment sales.
Knowledge of ag business structures or live production; poultry ventilation knowledge is a plus.
Dealer-channel selling experience strongly preferred.
Strong presentation, writing, and CRM/PC skills; ability to travel extensively in the U.S. and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue and margin growth for VAL-CO's control product lines in domestic swine and poultry markets.
Expand customer adoption through consultative selling, strong technical communication, and disciplined sales execution.
Deliver live and virtual product demonstrations.
Partner with Technical Support to build customer-facing training content.
Coordinate with Marketing on new-product launch plans; relay market feedback to Product Management.
