Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Encryption & Post-Quantum Architect to join our Corporate IT team as a remote employee. You will develop and maintain cryptographic standards, lead post-quantum readiness, and collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and product teams to drive remediation.

Strong PKI and cryptographic protocol experience required. The role emphasizes security reviews, regulatory compliance, and metrics for cryptographic maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in information security, enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, security architecture, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience with PKI, certificate management, and cryptographic protocols.
• Experience supporting cloud and hybrid enterprise environments.
• CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, or comparable certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise cryptographic architecture standards and technical guidance.
• Lead post-quantum cryptography readiness assessments and cryptographic inventory initiatives.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, cloud, manufacturing, and product teams to drive remediation activities.
• Support security reviews, audits, and regulatory compliance involving encryption and cryptographic controls.
