Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker seeks an Encryption & Post-Quantum Architect to own the enterprise cryptographic strategy and PKI programs. You will lead roadmaps for cryptographic modernization, manage crypto assets, and partner with infrastructure, cloud, and product security teams to align controls with business and regulatory needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in information security, enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, security architecture, or related disciplines.
• Experience with PKI, certificate management, key management systems.
• Experience developing technical standards and enterprise architecture guidance.
• Experience supporting cloud and hybrid enterprise environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise cryptographic architecture standards and technical guidance.
• Maintain visibility into cryptographic assets, certificates, keys, encryption dependencies, and cryptographic trust relationships across the enterprise.
• Lead post-quantum cryptography readiness assessments and cryptographic inventory initiatives.
• Evaluate vendor, supplier, and technology partner readiness for post-quantum cryptography migration.
• Develop cryptographic modernization and remediation roadmaps.
• Identify cryptographic risks, technical debt, and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, cloud, manufacturing, and product teams to drive remediation activities.
• Provide technical leadership for PKI, certificate lifecycle management, encryption services, cryptographic controls, and digital trust technologies.
• Support security reviews, audits, and regulatory compliance initiatives involving encryption and cryptographic controls.
• Develop metrics and reporting related to cryptographic maturity, readiness, and risk reduction.
