Job summary

McKesson is seeking an Account Manager, Post-Acute Care to grow and manage customer relationships throughout Iowa. This remote field-based role partners with long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, and other post-acute care providers to deliver medical-surgical products, equipment, and solutions.

You will develop new business, expand existing accounts, and serve as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional sales experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a territory of post-acute care customers and prospects.
• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, cold calling, and lead generation activities.
• Build strategic relationships with decision-makers across long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, and related healthcare organizations.
• Conduct customer business reviews and identify opportunities to improve operational and supply chain outcomes.
• Present and sell medical-surgical products, equipment, and healthcare solutions using a consultative sales approach.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Retain and expand existing customer relationships through exceptional account management and customer service.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver effective product, service, and implementation solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer activity, pipeline, and opportunity data within Salesforce CRM.
• Consistently achieve or exceed territory sales objectives.
