Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a POS Support Specialist to join our Phoenix team. You will provide remote support for U-Haul computer-based applications and systems to dealers, centers, and internal users under the Manager- U-Haul POS Support.

The role emphasizes real-time problem solving and thorough documentation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting peripherals and network-related issues, coordinating with development for software discrepancies, and supporting field devices managed via Meraki.

Qualifications

• Fundamental networking knowledge and experience preferred.
• Experience with Meraki and device management preferred.
• Strong OS and browser troubleshooting skills.
• High typing speed and clear written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide Remote support via phone queues and live chat for U-Haul applications.
• Troubleshoot peripherals like printers, modems, routers, and devices.
• Identify software discrepancies and report to development teams.
• Research issues and assist with incident response scenarios.
• Tier 1 troubleshooting with documentation and escalation as needed.
• Trace network issues and resolve or escalate accordingly.
• Assist with VoIP issues and user softphone equipment.
• Manage field mobile devices using Meraki.
• Work with routers, switches, and modems on a Tier 1 level.
