Job summary

Payroc is seeking a POS Project Manager for Merchant Boarding & Business Services to lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of POS and payment solutions. You will coordinate timelines, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure a seamless onboarding and go-live for merchants.

The role combines project coordination with technical knowledge of POS systems and payment processing, including training merchants and supporting post-launch activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management experience in POS, SaaS onboarding, or payment processing.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant and retail POS platforms and related hardware.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with a proactive, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Drive successful implementations with milestones, timelines and dependencies; document tasks and communication.
• Coordinate between stakeholders to translate and align technical requirements; conduct structured meetings.
• Analyze, design, build and customize merchant databases for complex POS use cases and pricing models.
• Participate in testing and validation of database configurations prior to go-live.
• Perform end-to-end hardware and software imaging and staging for deployment readiness.
• Execute remote and on-site installations; configure terminals, printers, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues during implementation and post-launch.
• Train merchant staff during go-live and provide real-time troubleshooting.
• Ensure a smooth handoff to ongoing support and monitor post-deployment issues.
