Siemens Grid Software’s PTI seeks a Portfolio Consulting Manager to lead a team of power system consultants focused on transmission planning and interconnection studies across ERCOT and SPP. You will drive business development, customer engagements, and project execution with utilities, developers, and large energy users.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, strong leadership, and expertise with power systems tools. Remote within the contiguous U.S. with up to 10% travel.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (required).
• 10+ years in transmission planning, operations, interconnection, or power system studies.
• 2+ years leading technical teams or consulting organizations.
• Experience with power system analysis tools (PSS/E, PSLF, PowerWorld, PSCAD).
• Strong knowledge of NERC standards and regional planning criteria.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of power system consultants.
• Grow transmission planning and interconnection consulting in ERCOT and SPP.
• Build and maintain relationships with utilities, developers, RTOs, and industry stakeholders.
• Lead customer engagements, proposals, project planning, and contracts.
• Oversee transmission planning and interconnection studies (steady-state, short-circuit, transient stability).
• Ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Manage portfolio performance: revenue growth, profitability, utilization, forecasting, and resource planning.
