Job summary

QBE, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer / Editor to develop, edit, and maintain cybersecurity documentation supporting NIH/OD-OIT. This role is primarily remote but will require some TDY.

You will collaborate with subject-matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear written materials, produce policies and SOPs, and ensure consistency and compliance across artifacts used in federal programs.

Qualifications

• Develop technical policies and SOPs for cybersecurity.
• Strong written English, editing, proofreading, and organization.
• Ability to work with technical subject-matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and edit cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and SOPs.
• Produce clear documentation for cybersecurity processes and systems.
• Translate technical concepts into written materials with SMEs.
• Review documents for grammar, formatting, and compliance with templates.
• Maintain document version control and revision histories.
• Develop templates and documentation standards.
• Support RMF, security operations, engineering, training, and governance artifacts.
• Ensure consistent terminology across documents.
• Coordinate document reviews and approval workflows.
