Sentara Health is seeking a Payment Policy Research Analyst & Technical Writer to identify, develop, and present cost-savings opportunities for Sentara Health Plan. You will assess opportunities using data insights, engage SMEs, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement policy-driven savings.

The role requires strong policy development, coding, and reimbursement writing experience, with remote work options and potential for performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Bachelor Level Degree (Preferred)
• 3 years Health plan experience or 3 years Medical coding, required
• 3 years Health plan claim auditing or appeals, preferred
• BS/BA/Advanced degree in health care or medical field preferred

Responsabilités

• Research & assess internal payment policies and solutions to identify cost savings opportunities
• Determine strategies to achieve savings such as policy development or enhancement
• Build relationships with stakeholders to define and deliver payment initiatives and policy development
