Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced government and public administration professionals to help train AI models on documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role offers remote work with flexible hours (5–20 per week) and pays $70/hour.

You will create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated materials, including policy memos, interagency summaries, grant reports, and budget narratives, ensuring clarity and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years working within government agencies or public administration, with direct ownership of policy briefing memos and grant compliance packages
• Strong command of public-sector writing conventions, rulemaking public comment procedure, and appropriations request narratives
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows (policy memos, interagency coordination, and program status reports)
• Develop and refine rulemaking public comment summaries, grant compliance packages, and reporting narratives
• Draft constituent correspondence and case management logs, and craft appropriations request narratives for agency budgets
