• Strong policy development experience with research and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to analyse complex information and present clear recommendations.
• Experience producing policy papers, briefings or submissions.
• Knowledge of government policy making and public sector landscape.
• Willingness to work across environmental/regulatory or sustainability topics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support development, review and implementation of policy across programmes and priorities.
• Conduct research, analysis and evidence gathering to inform policy decisions.
• Draft policy papers, briefings, ministerial submissions and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with government departments, regulators and external stakeholders.
• Assess impact of legislation and regulatory changes; translate into actionable recommendations.
• Contribute to consultations and wider programme delivery.
