Job summary

RNS Id is seeking an experienced Data Protection Officer to lead our privacy program in a fully remote capacity. The role is full-time at 48 hours per week, with responsibilities across compliance, governance, and risk management.

The successful candidate will develop policies, perform privacy impact assessments, manage data subject rights, and collaborate with legal, IT, and vendors to ensure GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations are met. Prior experience in a global environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate certificates required.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in data protection/privacy.
• Data security certificates and ISO certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data protection policies and controls.
• Conduct DPIAs and data mapping exercises.
• Manage data subject requests and consent management.
• Oversee data retention and incident response processes.
• Ensure privacy by design across new products and services.
• Coordinate with legal, IT security, and third parties on compliance.
