Job summary

NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS), a joint venture with Sopra Steria, is seeking a Policy Manager to shape, embed and maintain policy frameworks across the organisation. The role focuses on translating external policy into usable frameworks for the customer strategy, procurement and service delivery teams.

Qualifications

Translating government/NHS guidance into clear policy frameworks.
Providing expert advice on policy development and interpretation.
Supporting policy governance, assurance and change communications.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, review and maintenance of organisational policies.
Interpret legislation and guidance to produce actionable policy for procurement colleagues.
Embed policy into day-to-day operations and governance processes.
Coordinate policy impact assessments and approvals.
Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency.
