Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a PMO Support Specialist to join the PMO, driving contract management, budgeting, invoicing, and process improvement. You will collaborate with project managers, finance teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure compliance and operational excellence across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing customer contracts and understanding budgeting.
• Experience with CRM/ERP systems, Oracle preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Able to meet U.S. citizenship requirements for this role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Document and maintain customer contacts, shipping locations, and invoicing requirements.
• Maintain customer billing rates and invoicing requirements, including charge numbers.
• Document customer systems and access requirements.
• Coordinate project updates from customer-driven changes and transitions.
• Support project setup, maintenance, and administration per contracts and standards.
• Review contracts and classification; support opportunity closure with PMs.
• Assist with project setup, budget, revenue, and audits as needed.
• Support revenue recognition and contract documentation across PMO.
