Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to support a PMO Transformation initiative. This full-time position is 100% remote and focuses on owning client engagements across cybersecurity, compliance, cloud, and advisory services to deliver successful projects.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong client-facing skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements while ensuring scope, budget, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience independently managing projects from planning through execution and closeout.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or client engagements.
• Strong client-facing experience, including leading customer meetings and project status calls.
• Experience with Statements of Work (SOWs) and translating contractual requirements into actionable plans.
• Ability to manage schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Experience tracking budgets, resource hours, forecasts, or other financial aspects of delivery.
• Ability to start from existing projects, assess status, identify gaps, and map a path to delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional customer-facing presence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 5-7 concurrent client engagements.
• Review SOWs, project scope, milestones, deliverables, and contractual commitments.
• Own engagements and establish understanding of status, deliverables, risks, and next steps.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, action items, and documentation.
• Lead internal project meetings and client-facing status calls.
• Track progress against scope, schedule, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
• Proactively identify risks, delays, resource constraints, scope concerns, and satisfaction issues.
• Coordinate resources across multiple workstreams and monitor budgets.
• Ensure clear communication between customers, teams, and stakeholders.
• Support governance, risk reviews, and customer reporting.
• Coordinate closeout activities, acceptance, handoffs, and lessons learned.
